Fiestas!

We were glad to be able to receive about 25 children and a few adults (all related!) into our rental house in town for a wonderful gathering and a great time of fellowship. The school year has officially ended so we invited the children over to have cake and swim and everyone had a great time. Be sure to check out the pictures on the site. Someone locally had also donated numerous stuffed animals so that every child could have something to take home, it was a great time for everyone.

Our family was also able to share in a very large family birthday celebration for Marcial’s family in Larinconada de Jocotenango, it is right outside of Antigua. We had a wonderful time and we were privileged to be invited and participate and eat their food and share our food with them. Yet another time for us to understand their culture and families more.
