Therefore I command you to be open handed toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land. Deuteronomy 15:11
As Christians we are called by God to care for those who live in poverty and distress. Our mission at Paso a Paso is to Partner with impoverished communities, sharing the love of Christ, strengthening and building them up, by providing opportunities for people in school, home and work. When men and women can obtain the ability to provide for their families, they can improve their quality of life as well as the future lives of their children. We will come alongside families, single mothers, and those with special needs, to empower them to improve their quality of life.

I tell you the truth, whatever you do for one of the least of these brothers of mine you did for me.’” Matthew 25:40
To fulfill our misison of partnering with impoverished communities in Central America by proclaiming Christ and providing home, job and school opportunities. We accomplish this by sponsoring children in school, providing water filters and stoves for individual homes, and providing job training and support for adults. As the ministry grows we will work toward building a community resource center to address job training, tutoring, and nutrition needs. When the community has matured they will be encouraged to share their skills and knowledge with other communities.
